Yesterday, Matthew's brother Jonathan and wife Lori welcomed their second daughter into the world. Madeline Grace was born after a very short labor and delivery (albeit Lori was having slight contractions all Saturday night and Sunday at home). Her water broke at 1:00pm on Monday morning, they dropped 2-year-old Hannah off with their pastor and his wife, and headed to the hospital.
Madeline was born around 5:30pm after an easy delivery (5 minutes of pushing!). She is a healthy girl weighing 9 lbs. 2 oz. and 20" long! We are so excited you are here, little Madeline and can't wait to meet you. Unfortunately, I can't leave town until our baby is born so it will be a few months. Thankfully, Matthew's mom Ruth Ann is driving up to visit this Thursday to stay for a week.
