Little Guy is no longer zero!

My kids like to think until a child has had a first birthday that he or she is zero years old.  Rylan has finally arrived because now he is 1 and no longer 0.  Just a few flashback pictures before we get to the birthday party and more current.

 Newborn (Great photo, Jessie!)

  Three months

 Six months

 Nine months

Rylan turned 1 on May 19 which was a Monday.  Matthew, Philip and Braewyn ate dinner and headed out to BSF so we postponed his party until the next Saturday night.  Grandma, Nana, Papa, Aunt Elise and Uncle Arden joined us to celebrate our little man.

First blue cake and ice cream.  A quick bath mid-party for the birthday boy.  Closed up with opening presents.  Juliet was quite insistent this year that Rylan really needed her help with that part!

Books can be chew toys, right?  Thanks Aunt Elise and Uncle Arden.

Cool!  Air Jordan sweatsuit to wear to Philip's basketball games next fall.
Thanks Aunt Greta and Uncle Mark.

Animal bowling will be so much fun!  Thanks Grandma.

Everybody wants to get in on the action.

Rylan loves his first truck!  Thanks Nana and Papa.

Thanks for holding his hands, Braewyn, so I could get ONE picture with the hat on.
That boy wants NOTHING on his head.

So happy to have new toys.

And a big hug from Grandma for big brother Philip.  Crazy to think Rylan will be that big in no time.

We have loved every minute (ok, maybe not a few here and there) of our year with Rylan.  He has developed into such a sweet, cuddly boy.  He is a precious gift from the Lord and I'm excited to watch him continue to grow up with his brother and sisters.
