Matthew and I will celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary this Sunday. It's been a wonderful journey as we really have come to know each other better each year that has passed. We praise God for blessing us with our three kiddos who have brought more joy to our marriage than I could put into words. However, despite loving the kids immensely, it's always nice to have a day just to ourselves. With Philip and Braewyn not having soccer games this past Saturday (yes, they are each on an Upward soccer team!), Matthew and I headed to the mountains for a day of hiking followed with a delicious candlelight dinner (ok, it was just a tea light on a restaurant table but we were ALONE!).

I love you, Matthew! I pray we have 12 more years and than another 12 and then another 12 and then another 12! Plenty of time to go back and hike all the trails at Crowders Mountain! Love you, sweetie!
