Philip was excited to see that Grandma came for the Easter Egg Hunt too. Funny Philip. That's your Easter basket, not a hat, silly. (It was Matthew's Easter basket as a child too!)
It was nice sharing the morning with both of our moms. Philip loves his Nana and Grandma and they LOVE him!
"Pick up that egg, Philip," Daddy says. Philip thinks, "It's my naptime and you have me out here picking up eggs which aren't even hidden."
The following pictures are from Easter Sunday. We enjoyed a celebration of Jesus' resurrection at our morning Sunday School and church services and then met together for a family Easter lunch at my mother-in-law Ruth Ann's house. It was a great time of fellowship and the numbers keep increasing. Those in attendance were Ruth Ann, Matthew, me, Philip, Elise and Arden (Matthew' aunt and uncle), Grandma Mary (Matthew's Grandma), Mollie and Paul (Matthew's cousins), Michael (Mollie's fiance - 6 weeks and counting!!), and my parents Patty and Rich. God made holidays pretty easy for Matthew and I because when my parents moved from Greenville to Boiling Springs, they moved onto Ruth Ann's street. They live on either end of the road but within walking distance!

What a cutie! You're so blessed to have both sets of parents live close.
Such a handsome little man. We never went the bow tie and suspenders route either; they just seem so little for such grown up clothes.
What a blessing to have both Grandmothers so close. That is definately one of the downfalls for us, living two hours a way from our families.
Philip is such a cutie and growing up so fast!!!!
It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Of course we wish we could have clebrated with everyone. Philip looks so cute in his hat!
