I said in a previous post that the holidays had crept up on me as I hadn't gotten the Christmas spirit until just recently. Well, starting last Friday, the holidays had definitely arrived. Philip and I had lunch with Melanie, a great friend of mine, whom we hadn't seen in months. Kind of sad that sometimes friends even in the same town can lose touch just because circumstances change. It was a great time to catch-up and make plans to get together with our families in the future (i.e. 24!!). She was so sweet to bring us presents! Philip loves his new boombox from his buddy Mr. Ron.

These pictures look awfully familiar....hmmmmm...It was a fun lunch. Glad Philip likes his boom box...we seriously hope you and Matthew are loving it, too. It is so nice to be the person who can give the loud gifts now vs. being on the receiving end! We're looking forward to ringing in the New Year with you guys this year!
